The WaveReady 2000 series FiberShelf is a rack-mount shelf that holds one or two JDSU Fiber Multiplier modules (BrightSwitch™, and BrightJack™) in a 19 or 23 inch (48.26 or 58.42 cm) rack. In addition to being a secure, low-cost solution, the FiberShelf provides excellent protection for the optical modules.
Fiber management is also conveniently provided. The installed modules can be removed and reinstalled as required. Optical bulkheads are accessible from the front for maintenance activities.
The FiberShelf features reversible 19/23 inch brackets and permits fast installation of modules. All hardware is provided. At 1.75 inch (4.45 cm; 1U) high, the slim profile provides maximum flexibility for mounting FiberMultiplier equipment in the most convenient rack location (for example, above or below the associated transmission equipment).
