Before downloading Version 4.22, if you have an OFI-2000 with version 1.00 you need to upgrade your unit by clicking here on
OFI-2000_Repair_V100_zip and following the instructions below :
Connect your OFI to your PC with the RS-232 cable supplied and start the OFI in the upgrade mode, press the FOX key, double click on the Repair_V100_zip.exe
Choose the serial port and press OK then press start on the OFI. Once this file is downloaded you are ready for Version 4.22!
OFIV4_22_zip.exe
This .exe file is an auto-extracting zip file that contains the upgrade file to be used via the PC's serial port. Extract the compressed files onto your PC's hard disk ; you should now have "OFIV4_22.exe"
To download the OFI V4.22 software version into your OFI-2000 :
Press the On-Off button on the OFI and hold it down until the hardware reset occurs.
Start the OFI-2000 in Upgrade mode : Press the FOX key whilst applying external power. Double click on the file 'OFIV4_22.exe'
Choose the required serial port, confirm 'OK' and then press 'OK' once more on the PC. Then press "Start" on the OFI-2000.
The V4.22 software release is then downloaded into the OFI-2000!
