High-Power 2.5 W 935 nm Fiber-Coupled Diode Laser (PDF, 0.22 MB)
The high-brightness 6395 Series laser diodes offer up to 2 W from a 50 μm fiber into 0.12 numerical aperture (NA). They are designed for thermal printing and other applications that require high brightness and a long life. Additionally, the output power, especially from the 50 micron fiber,will enable new technologies such as flexo and several material processing applications.
The L3 package is a redesign of the fiber-coupled L2 package. Taking advantage of the JDSU telecommunications design, the L3 provides the utmost in reliability and higher power handling capability required by the new chips.
The L3 is available with convenient mounting plates and customer-selectable fiber termination, including bare fiber, SMA, or ST connectors.
